TWINS?!!! - 10/21/2019

Me and my new comp Sister Gremillion from Sandy, Utah
HELLOOOOOOOOOOO. This week was crazy BUT SO GOOD, I LOVE MANCHESTER!!! OKAY so for starters literally EVERYONE has asked if Sister Gremillion and I are twins!!! We have been together for FIVE DAYS and THIRTEENTH people have asked if we are related or sisters!! HAHAHA I love it so much!!! It's so funny!!! She is so cute though so I take it as a compliment every time hahaha it's so good though!!!
Us with a member:)
Manchester YSA is BOOOOOOMING, it's so fun!!! There is so many people to talk to all the time and you meet all kinds of great humans AND I LOVE IT. i feel like I'm back in University again because I'm around a bunch of people my age!! IT'S CRAZY. I do miss Chester though, I feel like I am starting over because I know nothing about this place but it's so good!! But I just keep reminding myself that change is good and I'm still the same Sister Farnworth!!!
View from my flat!
LET'S THINK ABOUT THIS WEEK. Honestly, it was wild. We talk to SO many people every day and we LIVE at the Chapel!!! We go to the Chapel to meet with people then we go right outside and street contact with all the university students then go right back to the Chapel and teach someone. So it is very back and forth but it is AMAAAAZING and it makes me so happy! Hahahaha BUT it was rainy one day this week and I have had QUITE the adventures with umbrella's this week let me tell you! SO first, we didn't have any umbrella's when we were leaving a members so she gave us one which was so nice! BUT I didn't take it off my bag and I was running to the bus stop and it broke and the actual umbrella part was so sad!!! SO ONE UMBRELLA GONE. Then, I had my nice good umbrella clipped to my bag and an hour later I looked and it has gone SO don't know where that one went but I'm convinced I don't know where it went because someone else needed it more than I did SO yeah THEEEEN I had one more umbrella and it was raining and I went to open it and the top popped off!!!! IT WAS ROUGH OKAY. So I need to get a new umbrella but it was a BUMPIN GOOD TIME. BUT that was fun! THEN we had another adventure hahaha we were going to stake conference and we took the bus with some members of the Chinese ward (we have an English and Chinese ward here) and Sister Gremillion and I were leading this group and we had no idea where we were going, it was so funny!!! GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES.
Sister Gremillion and I on the lift!!!

My poor umbrella:(

Then we also have a friend that is getting baptized this week! She is so prepared and so so SO sweet! We are so excited for her!!! AHHH I love it! But the work is great and we are meeting so many amazing people that are progressing and truly coming closer to their Heavenly Father. AHHH SO GOOD and I love this gospel and I love talking to so many people every day and helping brighten their day!!! WE LOVE IT. SO SO GOOD.

Random pic of us!

SORRY, THIS EMAIL IS SO LONG AND IT'S MOSTLY ABOUT UMBRELLAS!!! SO for my thought of the week, I wanted to share something I love and remember every time I talk to people. It's in d&c 18:10 and it says...

10 Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.

I LOVE THIS. I love this!!!! It is so good and basically says that every soul is worth so much and God wants to save all of us and help all of us live with him again. I know it's so true. I know that we will all be together again and I know we will all live again. I love this Gospel and I love the plan that God has created for us to have everlasting joy. The gospel brings that everlasting joy!!! IT'S SO GOOD.

This lady bug was in my hair!!LOVE IT!!

HAVE THE BEST WEEK MY FRIENDS!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

GOODBYE CHESTER, HELLO MANCHESTER YSA - 10/15/2019

Last Sunday at Chester chapel-I LOVE THIS PLACE!!
WELL YES everyone you read it right, I am leaving good old Chester and heading to Manchester!!! I will be in the Young Single Adult ward and I am so so SOOO excited!!! I'm going to miss Sister Johnson so much y'all don't even understand but this will be such a good experience for me and I know we will both grow so much! AH also I feel like this will be perfect for my personality because I have very much discovered I am an extrovert since I've been out because I just LOVE people!!!! AHHHH I can't wait!
The running hare for my 6 months!
ALSO WHAT A WEEK IN THE GOOD OLD EMM. I have hit my SIX MONTH mark :( which means I only have one year left and I am SO sad it's going too quick!!! but it is so good so I love it!! BUT some elders got some food at a pub with us to celebrate so that was really fun!!! ALSO we were able to meet with a lot of our friends this week and a lot of members! They are all doing amazing and growing so much and I am so excited for them. SO if you look back in my emails you will see an email about my friend in the ward who I LOVE WITH MY WHOLE HEART.
THE MEMBER'S PHOTO FOR ME!!!!! I LOVE HER PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ENJOY, SHE IS AMAZING!!!

WELL she is so cute because she drew a picture for me of the Preston Temple, Draper Temple, AND the Chester Chapel!! it was so sweet!!!! AHHHH I love this place! I'm going to miss this ward so much!!! ITS TOO GOOD. We also had a district funeral for an elder that goes home this week so enjoy some photos of that!!!! HONESTLY dont have too much time this week so I will leave you all with a spiritual thought!
District funeral:(
This week in Come, Follow Me there is a section called I can find joy in Christ, regardless of my circumstances. OKAY I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!! We all experience hard things and a verse I loved from it was Philippians 4:13 where it says,

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

HOW GREAT IS THAT. Something I have seen this week is how much Christ strengthens us when we feel we cant give more. There have definitely been days in the mission where I feel like I cant give more and I do more! BUT I know and can testify to everyone that Christ is there. HE WANTS TO HELP I PROMISE. AHHH I love it!!!!
SAYING BYE TO MY FAVORITE HUMANS :(
HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE.

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

HURRICANE LORENZO - 10/07/2019

Visiting a castle!
ALRIGHTY EVERYONE BUCKLE UP THIS WEEK WAS QUITE THE ADVENTURE. As you can tell there was a hurricane AND it was the bummiest hurricane ever because nothing happened hahahaha we saw it on our google maps so we kept on tracking it every so often and it went over Ireland then to us and we were expecting lots of wind and rain and just not very fun weather BUT it turns out Hurricane Lorenzo was just a little one and we got a few raindrops but some good clear skies!!! it was too good though because we had a LOT of laughs because of it so it was AMAAAAZING.

BUT THIS WEEK WAS CRAZY. So on Monday, we went to a Castle and it was AMAAAAZING. Seriously the most beautiful place!
Look close, we are on the castle!

THEN after p-day, we were walking to a members for Family Home Evening and it was DOWNPOURING. Like legit such bad rain and let's just say, Sister Johnson and I were not prepared. We weren't wearing our best shoes AND neither us or the elders had umbrellas!!!! IT WAS INSANE. SO we were walking and I was like OH a gas station lets get some umbrellas AAANNND they didn't have any so we just went to the next store and they have 5 pounds, super cheap umbrellas so we all got one AND MINE WAS BROKEN. It was so funny, it kept flipping up so it wasn't even protecting me but I couldn't stop laughing because it was too funny and the moods were low so I was trying to brighten them yanno what I'm saying BUT it was so funny!!! WE ALSO kept making jokes about Elder Graham's water resist watch and how it wasn't working because we were all still soaked and it was too good hahaha the joy of missionary work!!! IT'S SO FUN.
The trousers!!
ALSO, THERE IS POWER IN TROUSERS. This week we wore some trousers because it's starting to get chilly and THE LORD BLESSED US FOR OUR TROUSERS OKAY. So the first time we wore them, we were able to make 3 new friends in the span of 15 minutes!!! It was amazing! We are meeting with them this week and more than excited, we definitely saw the Lord's hand with that one!!! AH SO GOOD. THEN the second time we wore trousers this week, we were able to get in contact with a lot of returning members. Now you see, I don't know if it's truly the trousers but I am convinced that the trousers give us strength okay, okay. SO AMAZING.
Random pic of me and Sister Johnson!
NOW LETS TALK ABOUT CONFERENCE, THAT WAS AMAZING. Seriously, so many inspired and amazing things! ONE THING I LOOOOVED was when Sister Harkness said that we may forget Christ BUT He will never forget us, HOW AMAZING IS THAT. Now matter how alone we feel or hard times are, Christ will truly never forget us! That is something that I have been thinking a lot about is how Christ is so aware of us and when she said that it truly put my feelings into words. WOW, I LITERALLY LOVED IT ALL. I loved Sister Aburto so so much!!! She is amazing! I loved when she said that we need to stop expecting to be perfect in this life!!! IT'S SO TRUE. We just need to try our best and that's all our Heavenly Father asks of us!!! AHHH AMAZING. Everyone please remember that!!! YOU'RE ALL AMAZING and I hope you have the best week! Remember Christ always because I can PROMISE He is always there for us!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

RAIIIIINY RAIN RAIN - 09/30/2019

Rainy dayzzz!
HELLO MY FRIENDS THAT I LOVE SO MUCH. This week was AMAAAAZING like always and very very VERY much full of rain and I truly love the rain so it was very good! Besides the fact that Sister Johnson wore glasses the day it was pouring rain so it wasn't too good BUT WE WERE STILL SMILIN YANNO WHAT IM SAYING.

OKAY so a lot of our appointments canceled BUT THAT IS OKAY WE STILL LIVIN OUR BEST LIVES. We did a lot of finding and we found two new friends!!! One we meant street contracting and she is so amazing! She was talking about how she wants to know her purpose in life and how she doesn't know if there is a God and wants to know SO THAT WAS GOOD. THEN we have been trying to contact a lady some Elders met a few months ago and she just didn't answer for the longest time BUUUT she finally answered and we set up a time to meet so that was so fun! We are SO excited to meet with her!!!!

Gotta get milkshakes for the rainy dayzzz!

WE ALSO had stake conference this week and our friend in the ward spoke at it and IT WAS SO SWEET OKAY LETS TALK ABOUT IT. So she was talking about her friend (Emily!!!!) who she introduced to the church and then talked about how missionaries are Angel's and it was just so so sweet :') WE LOVE HER. Then we ALSO had our Why I Believe fireside which is where recent converts speak and tell their conversion story and two converts from the Chester ward told their stories and they did so so so AMAAAZING. I LOVE THEM. They both have such amazing conversion stories and are so so powerful! I honestly think that is the greatest part of missionary work, seeing people grow closer to Christ and how the gospel helps them in their own lives! AH, INCREDIBLE.
Our favorite human ever, we love her!!

OVERALL, this week was really good. We had our ups and downs but we still smilin and push onward!!! I love missionary work and I love helping people come closer to Christ, it's such a blessing! MOSTLY I love the conversion I am seeing in myself in coming closer to Christ. I truly do love this gospel and the joy it brings to me and my life. I KNOW (without a doubt) that this is the Church of Jesus Christ and I know that Christ is there to help us and strengthen us ALWAYS. I know we have a Father in Heaven who loves us more than we know and I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I LOVE THIS WORK.
Sister Johnson and me during weekly planning.

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A MAGNIFICENT WEEK.

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

ARE THE ELDERS OKAY?!!??? - 09/23/2019

Sister Johnson and I waiting at the bus stop

HELLO EVERYONE. I hope you're all doing well!!! OKAY let's talk about this title because Sister Johnson and I were not having it! SO every Monday night, we go to this family's home in the ward for some good family home evening! AH it was amazing and we were able to teach the lesson which is always a fun time, we genuinely love it. SO we were done and the sister in the ward that normally gives us a lift wasn't there so we had to go catch a bus and Sister Johnson and I got on but the elders decided to walk so we were like okay sounds good we will see you soon ANNND didn't think anything of it so we made it to this place called the bus interchange and we were waiting for the elders for an hour and they don't show up so we call and no answer so yanno we got a little worried!!!! THEN the bus finally came and they still weren't there so we got a little more worried and the elders were on exchanges so we called the other set of elders and we asked if they heard from the elders that walked and they said no SO OKAY WHAT we were so worried the whole bus ride home and when we got home the elder that was at home the whole time asked if we heard from the one that walked and we were like no and he was like oh no maybe call him??? AH so we did and turns out they are dumb and the elders just walked ALL the way to their flat and just tried to prank us and it worked SO that was a good way to start off the week!!!!
Celebrating my 5 months

ANYWHO, this week was AMAZING (aren't they all) but honestly just a normal chill week SO let's get right into it!! We started with meeting with one of our new friends and he is just amazing!!! We just sat and answered some questions that he had about life after death and what not but it was amazing!!! AH I love teaching people. We also met with a friend we made a while back and it went really well! He had a lot of questions about stuff that he read on the internet (aka a missionaries worst enemy) BUT it went well and he wants to meet again SO we are happy about that one!!! AHHH what else, we also started meeting with a couple of returning members and they are AMAAAAZING. Ah we seriously love them and we are so excited to start meeting with them more and to build that relationship more and more. We also had a member bring a friend to church on Sunday so we will be meeting with her this week and we are so excited!!! She is so prepared!!! Seriously, this work is amazing and working with people and sharing the gospel is the greatest blessing in the WHOLE WORLD. IM OBSESSED I LOVE IT.

OH also this week we had a little incident at church on Sunday during relief society with a member and it was quite the adventure (I know she's reading this right now hahahaha) BUT it was so fun and I said I wouldn't go into detail but it literally made my day and I love her SO much she's the greatest human of all time!!!!
Another pic of necklace from Caitlin!

FINALLY, this gospel is INCREDIBLE. I love it so so SO much!!! It truly is for everyone! AH AMAZING. okay this week I was reading in the Doctrine and Covenants 9:7 where it says...

7 Behold, you have not understood; you have supposed that I would give it unto you, when you took no thought save it was to ask me.

OKAY CAN WE PLEASE JUST TAKE A MINUTE. God is waiting to let us know the truthfulness of the gospel!!! All we need to do is ASK and PRAY and he will truly let us know the truths of these things and he will help us to understand. HOW GOOD IS THAT. SO GOOD. I know that God listens and will answer our prayers, all we need to do is ask!!! OKAY THANKS FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK.

I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST WEEK!!!! YOURE ALL AMAZING AND IM GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF YOU.

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

WE LOVE SOME FOOD POISONING - 09/15/2019

exchanges with sister robertson and sister ott!!!
exchanges with sister robertson and sister ott!!!

OKAY LETS TALK ABOUT THIS CRAZY WEEK SISTER FARNWORTH HAS HAD. For starters, Monday night we had a little sleepover with some sisters in the mission because they couldn't sleep at their flat and it was so fun!!! THEN Tuesday and Wednesday were the best, hardest days of my life!! SO we were getting ready to go on exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders in Newcastle/Stoke area and my stomach hurt SOOOO bad! I seriously thought I was gonna die BUT I put it off and just decided to carry on with life and we traveled there and it was rough, let me tell ya! Longest trip of my life!!!! THEN we finally got there and my stomach was KILLING me so I got some medicine and carried on with the good old missionary work, which I am so grateful I did because we taught one of their friends and she asked when she could be baptized!!! WHAT???! It was AMAAAAZING. We were so happy!!!!! THEN we went home and the next day (Wednesday) was ROUGH. Here is a little too much information BUT I was sitting there dying because of my stomach and I prayed like 18287297 times that I would just throw up and get this all out of my system!!! WELL, I didn't at that moment but then some elders came and gave me a blessing and it was exactly what I needed so I am SO grateful for them and that they could do that for me because shortly after my prayer was answered and life was good!!!! OKAY I know it sounds wild but it was the best experience because I learned SO much (just like I learn every week). LIKE how much we need the Lord in our lives!!! I know I couldn't have made it through this by myself and I know that He was there for me every step of the way!!! AHHH it was amazing!!! SO GRATEFUL.

zone conference!!

THEN we had Zone Conference and that was an experience! SO we woke up early to go and got a bus and we were waiting at this bus stop for this other bus AND IT DRIVES RIGHT BY US. Hahahahah so we RAN and the elders were on the bus so they talked to the driver and he said he wouldn't stop because it wasn't a stop and he wouldn't wait for us and it was just a MORNING. BUT then Zone Conference was amazing and we talked about our testimonies and how we can plan better and just be better missionaries. I always love Zone Conference so it was just amazing like always!!! I was asked to speak at it (scary!!!!) AND Sister Johnson and I sang so it was an exciting one!! BUT we loved it!!!!

Then we saw the Lord's hand in so many ways on Saturday! One of our friends canceled her meeting with us last minute so we had to hurry and do something else. Well, we decided to go to this town called Buckley (where I use to live) and visit some people who use to be interested but weren't taught anymore AND inactive members. We started knocking on their doors but no one was in SOOO we got to the last one and no answer so I turned and said "mmmm okay let's tract!" so we did!!!! AND IT WAS SO INSPIRED because we made two new friends in the span of three minutes from knocking on those doors down that street!!! What a testament that the Lord is helping us in our efforts AHHH I am so grateful!!!! I love it!!!
The Zoo!! Sister Johnson and our friend!

ALSO FINALLY TO TOP IT ALL OF, we went to the Chester Zoo with our friend!!! It was amazing and she is amazing, she use to work there so she got us free tickets! IT WAS SO NICE. AHHHH this truly was the greatest craziest week of my life!!!

BUT YES. I love this work so much, even when I get sick or a bus driver drives right past Sister Johnson and I. There is seriously nothing better than sharing something you love in a place you love with people you love!!!! I am so lucky and blessed to be a missionary and to know that the Lord is there for me always. He is there for all of you and I can say that without a doubt!!!! A scripture that we talked a lot about this week was in d&c 6:36 (a classic) and it says...

Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not"

The Savior is with us in every thought!!!! I KNOW IT! I can promise that when we rely on Him and TRUST Him, He will help us and He just waiting for us to ask for it!!! AHHH SO GOOD OKAY. Everyone have the best week, I'll talk to you next week!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,

sister farnworth

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN!!?? - 09/09/2019

HELLO HELLO HELLLLLLLO MY FRIENDS. Okay so this week was wild BUT like always, let me start off with explaining this title!! SO Sister Johnson and I were sitting in the Storehouse, which is a library/cinema/theater/cafe/anything you want it to be, and we were waiting for our friend to come and meet with us. This man comes over and says "did you go to University of Michigan?" so we were like mmmm no then we asked him if he has (since we're missionaries and talk to everyone) and he pretty much says in reality no, but in a dream yes (but in a VERY complicated way). THEN we left because we needed somewhere where we could sit with our friend and this man follows us all around Storyhouse!!! It was wild and not gonna lie we were a little nervous, but it was definitely something we will never forget!! BUT YES WE LOVE IT BECAUSE ALL IS WELL, YANNO?
last meal with the boyers and we're sad about it :(

ANYWHO, let's talk about our week. For starters, winter is coming!!!! It is definitely starting to get a little chilly here in the UK but it's not too bad so were doing good! Sister Johnson and I have no idea what to expect so we're just little bit nervous about what it's going to he like BUT all is well and so far, so good!!! THEN ALSO, the Boyer's (senior couple in our area aka my mission grandparents) officially left and let me tell you, I love them so much and I am so sad about it!!!! They are the most pure souls and their love for the gospel is AMAAAAZING. We will miss them SO SO much and Chester hasn't been the same with out them. IT WAS HEARTBREAKING to go to church and not see them there! AHHH SO sad, they will be so missed!!!

Let the cold weather begin!!

ANNNND then, we saw so many miracles this week!!! We have been teaching lots of inactive members but not as many people with interested, we have been trying SO hard to find people BUT havent had much luck but we keep trying because we know that the Lord sees our efforts BECAUSE we made two new friends who have so much potential and we are so excited to meet with them more regularly! SO the first one I met when I was companions with Sister Ellsworth! We met when we were tracting (knocking on doors) around our estate and he was so nice and promised he'd listen but didnt have time then SO we were like okay we will be back. We kept going back and it kept not working out BUT he kept promising so we didnt give up and we finally caught him at the right time this week so we were able to meet and he is interested to keep meeting!!! THEN we met another lady a couple of weeks ago on the bus and when we were tracting some more around our estate, we knocked on her door!! She was interested in meeting again so we set up a time that we will meet and we are excited for that as well!! HONESTLY, the Lord is amazing, his work is AMAZING and miracles are SO REAL. We are so happy to work with this people!!!
sister johnson's sister sent her coconut syrup so we made some dirty diet cokes!!!!!

HMM another happy thing is Sister Johnson hit her TWO month mark this week!!! She is amazing and has grown SO much so I am so happy for her! ALSO, TOMORROW IS MY FIVE MONTH MARK. Where is time going?!??? IS THIS ALLOWED?? I don't know but I don't think it should be!!! CRAZY.

LASTLY, my favorite conference talk in the whole world is Christ: The Light That Shines in Darkness by Sharon Eubank. IT IS AMAZING!!! I seriously listen to it almost every morning BUT it's okay it's so worth it. ANYWHO, I was reading the New Testament and the scripture Matthew 1:23 is honestly one of my favorites!! It is talking about the birth of Jesus Christ and it says..

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

WELL, in the talk she quotes the last line that is "God with us." and then says that He is surely with you. HOW AMAZING IS IT TO KNOW THAT OUR SAVIOR AND BEST FRIEND IS ALWAYS WITH US. I love that!!! I love the knowledge that we can have to know that our best friend, Jesus Christ, is always with us. We are never EVER alone and I know that to be true and can testify it till the day I die! I love it so much!!!! I LOVE THE GOSPEL.

OKAY, THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY, I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE THE GREATEST WEEK.

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth
