HAPPY SLAPPY DAYS - 09/28/2020

                     Other random fun pics!
WELL, such a happy week it was! We had a lot of slap-happy moments this week! It would hit 9 o'clock and we would just die of laughter and make some good memories it was so fun! LIKE FOR EXAMPLE, sister Gremillion did some companionship yoga and we had pillow fights where I would hit the pillow back at her as she threw it to me and it was fun! OH boy gotta love the fun nights!!

ALSO ALSO SOMETHING MORE EXCITING we got to do EXCHANGES and they were real and they were epic! It was so fun! We got to do exchanges with the Shrewsbury Sisters and the Rhyl Sisters which was good! AND I GOT TO BE WITH MY DAUGHTER FOR A DAY!!!! It was so happy :') BUT yes that was happy so I was with Sister Weyland and Sister LeBlanc and I just learn so much from them it was good, they are so WISE!

A proper roast dinner in England!
Exchanges with Sister Weyland!
We also got to see so many miracles this week! We got TWO referrals, one from some other missionaries in the mission and another is a self-referral! God is SO good!!! It has just been incredible to see that when we truly pray with faith and when we give our all in the work, the Lord truly helps us. Isn't that incredible?!? AH, miracles are so happy!! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!

                 Exchange with Sister LeBlanc :))

AH, ALSO my studies have been BOOOOMING lately! I might have explained this before (whoops) BUT I am reading the Book of Mormon and highlighting everything that has to do with the lessons that we teach as missionaries and let me tell ya, it is the greatest thing ever in the whole world! AH so there is this verse that just stood out to me and it is Alma 1:30 and it says:

"And thus, in their prosperous circumstances, they did not send away any who were naked, or that were hungry, or that were athirst, or that were sick, or that had not been nourished; and they did not set their hearts upon riches; therefore they were liberal to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, whether out of the church or in the church, having no respect to persons as to those who stood in need."

AH, it is a little longer BUT I just LOVE how they were prosperous but they still just loved everyone and took the people in no matter who they were, just like our Saviour does!!! NOW, HOW AMAZING IS THAT?! Sometimes I think we just need a reminder to do that, to be kind to everyone no matter who they are! We are all just trying our best and the Lord loves effort so we should too!!! AH YES, so there are my two cents for the day! BUT YES I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD AND HAPPY WEEK!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

"I FEEL LIKE A GREMILLION DOLLARS" - 09/14/2020

Me and Sister Gremillion
PLEASE enjoy the wise words in my title from my sweet companion, she is one of the greatest humans and I love her. WE ARE TRULY feeling like a Gremillion dollars and we had some exciting things happen this week, are you ready? okay me too!!

WELLLL, it did start off bittersweet since Sister Biggs went home :( it was sad to say goodbye but also I am so happy that she gets to be home with her family, she is incredible!BUUUUT then Sister Gremillion came and we have had a bumpin good time! It has honestly felt like things just picked up right where they left off which is WAY good and way fun and we are livin our best lives!! We have been quite a busy bunch these last few days with meetings and planning but definitely have seen a lot of miracles as well so it is all worth it!
Saying goodbye to Sister Biggs
BUT ANYWAYYYYS, this week we had our Mission Leadership Council which was really nice! We talked about mission vision which is how we can better become and help others become true disciples of Jesus Christ! It was so good!!!! President and Sister Johnson are so wise and just get ya every time! Last night in a mission call I definitely got emotional because of how much I love my mission, it is the greatest :)  I LOVE THE GOSPEL. it makes me so happy!!! We also got to go to church and our returning member friend came AGAIN!!! It was so happy, we are best of buds so it is always good to see him and to have such good contact with him! We also had a Facebook Live and our incredible friend watched it with her partner who hasn't wanted to learn about God ANNNND he wants to join our lesson when we go see them on Saturday!!! OH YES GOD IS SO GOOD!! It was such a happy moment, AHH :)
Calling the sisters:))
AH but yes it was a good week, it was a wild one but there was a lot of joy so we love it!!!! I also loved my studies this week, I read this talk a few months ago called "O Remember, Remember" by Henry B. Eyring and it has changed my life SO I decided to read it again and there was a bit that stood out so I thought I'd share, it says...

'You... will be blessed as you remember what the Lord has done. You remember that song we sometimes sing: “Count your many blessings; name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.”'

AH, I just love. I think it so hard with the business of life to sit back and recognize how the Lord is helping us BUT I just know that as we do, we will be blessed with the greatest joy we could have. ANYWHO DOESN'T WANT THAT?!?!! AH, the greatest!!! I LOV

E!! BUT yes have the best week!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

THE BEGINNING OF THE END - 09/08/2020

Tea with Lex!!
Proper Roast Dinner!!

WELLLLLLLLL you read it right, the beginning of the end is here and it is coming in hot! I start my last transfer tomorrow and I am not sure how I feel about it! Sister Biggs has been getting ready to go home this week so I haven't had much time to think about it WHICH is totally okay and I am not complaining BUT I also thing reality is gonna come and it is gonna come quick!!! BUT ALL IS WELL!!! I am SO excited for the miracles that are coming and all the adventures this transfer will have! FOR STARTERS, I get to be companions with my girl Sister Gremillion... AGAIN!!!! THE TWINS ARE BACK FOR ROUND TWO BABY!! I am so excited to finish my mission with her, I love her so much! AND another exciting thing is a lot of Sisters that we get to do splits with changed SO I will be able to do splits with two of my previous companions which I am excited for! AH so many good things are going to happen, it will be SO GOOD. I LOVE!!!

SPLITS!!

BUT YES. This week has been so good! We got to see SO many people! Since Sister Biggs is leaving, we have been able to visit loads of people to say goodbye which was nice! We also got to do a little virtual tour of Temple Square with our friends and the Elders! YOU ALREADY KNOW I was emotional! BUT it was so neat to experience that with them, the Spirit is strong even over video call!!! ALSO we have seen more miracles on Instagram!! We have just been following and messaging people and we are meeting a lot of potential friends which is SO so exciting! AH I love being a missionary! OH ALSO there is a recent convert who decided to stop coming to church a few months ago AND he came to church on Sunday!!! It was quite a miracle and everyone was shocked but God is good (and so are promises hehe)!!! But yes this week was good! We didn't find anyone new to teach but we have the faith and we know that miracles are coming!
We held a guinea pig!!
Fun lunch date!

We also got to a do an in person split with the Sisters in Rhyl!!! I was with Sister Nolan and she is incredible! She was originaly serving in Australia but because of Corona she went home and is now serving here! I love her so it was fun to be with her, she taught me a lot and is just amazing!!! BUT YES that is about our week!

BUT YES. I love it all, I was reading the Book of Mormon this week (because it is the best ever, of course) and I just came across this scripture and it is a favourite for sure! It is in 2 Nephi 9:18 where Jacob is talking and he says:

"But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel, they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever."

I LOVE this. I have truly felt the joy that comes as we turn to Jesus Christ and trust in Him! He is our Friend and He brings the joy we all want in this life. I PROMISE. AH I love this gospel. I am so grateful to be a missionary and I am grateful for the incredible things I am learning every day. I AM SO HAPPY!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

SHORT BUT STILL HAPPY - 08/31/2020

SPLITS!!:)))

AHHHH, this week was a happy week!!! It was full of joy which was very happy :) This might be a short email because of time BUT overall it was good!!! We were able to invite our friend to be baptized and HE ACCEPTED!!! He will be baptized on November 7th and we are SO EXCITED. It was such a spiritual lesson and God is SO good!!! It was also so surreal because the date that was decided was after Sister Biggs and I will both be home! SO CRAZY. AH, time is going so fast!!!

We also had our last lil splits and stuff for the transfer this past week which was good!!! We had weekly planning with Sister Gremillion and Sister Nolan, studies with Sister Christenson and Sister LeBlanc, and splits, I was with Sister Torres!!! It was so happy!! SO THAT WAS FUN! We are happy and we have a real-life split again this week which will be so so good!!!
Our District-hahahaha-I LOVE THEM!!

ANYWAYS ALL IS WELL but today I finished the Book of Mormon!!! I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON AHHH. It truly changes lives and has changed mine for the better! I always love Moroni 7:33 where it says:

"And Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me."

I have such a strong testimony of this! I know that when we have faith in Jesus Christ, we can get through the hard, we can do anything in His will which is always good! I love this gospel and I am so grateful to have it in my life!!!! AH SO GOOD. HAVE THE BEST WEEK!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth
