BLESSINGS ON BLESSINGS ON BLESSINGS- 07/15/2019

THREE MONTHS!!

HELLO FRIENDS. First things first, this week I hit THREE MONTHS. WHAT? That came so quick and I don't know how I feel about it like is this allowed?!!??? I don't know but it's going by real quick! Second, I am almost done training and we are SOOO happy about that! One more week then I will be a normal missionary and life will be oh so good and I will continue to grow so much BUT I am so excited!! YAY.

ANYWHOOOO, THIS WEEK WAS SO GOOD. We found sooo many friends and met SO many potential friends! So last Sunday, we fasted so that we could find more people to teach because a lot of the people we were teaching dropped us so we were like okay we just really need to rely on the Lord for this one! SOOO WE DID AND LET ME TELL YA, GOD IS SO GOOD. It's amazing and just like I've said before, when you put your trust in the Lord, he will bless you! We just kept meeting people and they just kept being interested! We met a couple people street contacting, they were really nice! One used to be a missionary for her church but stopped going a few years back and another is a car salesman and he really likes art and writing. They are both so good and interested in learning more about the church so we were happy to meet them and help them!!! Then I met another man on the bus and he was so funny! He reminded me a LOT of my brother (Jordan) and so we just talked but had a really good conversation about the gospel. He said he's open-minded but pretty strong on his beliefs but he wants to meet SO we will meet with him this week which will be so good! Then we met another man while trying to contact returning members and he was really nice, we lowkey think he just wants to meet because were two cute American girls BUT WE'LL SEE. THEN our last friend we made was while knocking on doors, she was SO nice and SO willing to learn! She invited us into her home and said we can come back whenever!!! AHHH she's so sweet and her kids are so cute! WE ARE SO BLESSED AND I AM JUST SO EXCITED TO HELP ALL OF THESE PEOPLE.

Ward BBQ!!

We also had a Fourth of July BBQ at a member's home this week and it was SO nice. OOF I love me a good burger (and a good hotdog, I ate both lol) so I was as happy as can be! THEN we had our American themed Ward BBQ a couple days after and that was the most fun I've had in my whole entire life. We had a little parade and there were about 5 kids in it then me and Sister Ellsworth in the back and that was just so funny!!! I was trying to make it as fun as I could for the members and EVEEEERRRYONE was like "Oh we can so tell you were a cheerleader at home" SO hopefully that's a compliment! Then we played some American football and had a tug-a-war (I don't know how you spell that) AND IT WAS SO FUN. I'm not gonna lie, my team won everytime I played and I am proud of that one hahaha BUT we did Americans vs. Brits for one round and picture this, 5 American missionaries vs. a TON of English men.... it was so funny and we definitely gave them a little bit of a fight BUUUT they sadly won in the end. It was so fun!! AHHH BEST DAY I LOVED IT. I LOVE AMERICA.

BUT DONT YOU WORRY, this week wasn't all fun and games! Last p-day, we got back to our flat after Family Home Evening at a members AAAANNND REALISED THAT THE ELDERS HAD OUR KEYS. Sooo,we called them but they were at the chapel and were gonna be there for like 30 more minutes so we just sat outside our flat and talked and took so pics so that was fun! THEEEEEEN one day we woke up and we got ready and the weather said it'd be nice all day so we wore our short sleeves and went out to do the work and it was a nice day... until about 7 o'clock when it started down pouring! We were with all the elders (they were on exchanges) and they were like yeah so were gonna go so they just got in their little car and drove off AND we had to walk to the bus stop then walk to our flat in the pouring rain, it was SOOOO FUNNY. People were giving us the funkiest looks and honking at us hahaha I was laughing the whole time and just living my best life!! We took photos outside because we were soaked and our nice neighbor came out with an umbrella and was like "Are you okay?" HOW SWEET. He tried offering us the umbrella but there was no hope because we were dripping wet! IT WAS SO FUN THOUGH. I LOVE THE RAIN. I LOVE THE U.K

Locked out of our flat!

Stuck in the rain!
The aftermath of being stuck in the rain!
We had a really scary/neat experience this week with a member of our ward (she is my best friend and the cutest human I SWEAR)!!! We were at church and we just finished with meetings and she wasn't feeling too well. She already uses a walking stick but was struggling to walk and needed to get to the toilet SOOOO Sister Ellsworth were on both sides of her helping her. Then we were walking back and there wasn't really enough room for Sister Ellsworth and I to be on both sides of her so i was helping her and Sister Ellsworth was kind of behind holding on AND SHE PASSED OUT. OH MY GOODNESS. I suddenly just got real strong because I didn't let her fall but the ward members were great and hurry and got a chair for her to sit on and some water. THEN we were around some amazing priesthood holders so they gave her a blessing and it was just so powerful. The spirit was so strong and you know that the Lord was there to help her. AHHHH I LOVE THIS GOSPEL AND I LOVE THE TRUST THAT GOD HAS FOR US TO WORK IN HIS NAME. IT'S AMAZING. GOD IS SO GOOD.

ANYWHO, I LOVE YOU ALL!!! I hope you have an amazing week and are living your best lives!!! CHEERS.

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,

sister farnworth

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY, FELLOW AMERICANS - 07/08/2019

Our 4th of July fireworks
Well friends, my first fourth of July not in America and it was just the saddest!!! I LOVE the fourth of july so you know my heart was just a little broken BUT THAT'S OKAY. WE STILL SMILIN. Last p-day we went to Five Guys so that was something American to start the week and then on the fourth we just talked about America a LOT and listed all fifty states and yeah it was just so good! OH and we drew some fireworks on paper and took a picture with them so that was our firework show this year, I bet you are all so jealous ;) hahahaha so good. then this upcoming week we have a member that is having all the missionaries over for a fourth of july BBQ AND we have our American themed ward BBQ on Saturday so we are PUMPED for that because we love America so it should be really fun!!!! BUT YES, I hope you all had an amazing fourth of July and ate lots of burgers for me and enjoyed lots of fireworks for me!!!
Exchanges!
THIS WEEK WAS SO GOOD. AH. okay, so we went up to Liverpool for exchanges which was SO GOOD and quite eventful. My companion for the day was Sister Arines. She is the sweetest human ever, she's from the Philippines and this is her last transfer so she goes home in like two weeks, sad day :( I love her and will miss her SO much! But we had a good time! We just did lots of street contacting and met with a couple returning members who were realllly nice!! We also met with a recent convert who was just the sweetest!!! THEN it was Sister Robinson's (her companion) birthday so their whole district got together and had a birthday dinner for her! It was SO fun and I love their district, I seriously was laughing the whole time it was great and one of the missionaries was like are you judging and I was like uhhhhhhh nope I have four older brothers so I've seen so much worse, it was so funny!!! I LOVE IT. THEN we were on our way to the dinner and we had to blow up balloons on the bus and we looked like a bunch of weirdos blowing up these balloons and carrying them around, then we had to run into Aldi (it's like Walmart but cheaper) and buy a cake with a bunch of balloons in our hands hahahaha I was dying from laughing so hard but made for good memories so YOU KNOW I was happy!! It was all so good and I got to know Sister Arines way better and we are SO similar so that was really nice!!! AHHH SO GOOD. I LOVE EXCHANGES.
Sister Airnes on exchanges

YES then we went visited some returning members with a member of the ward and IT WAS SO GOOD! She was so funny and pure about it but it was good to help her get out of her comfort zone so that was good!!! It was also sad though because the only door that was opened, the person told us the member we were asking for passed away SO yeah that was sad!! But it's all good, they are probably happy in heaven now! YAY FOR THE PLAN OF SALVATION. YEET. So that was an exciting time, wanna know what else is exciting? BUSES. They are just SO fun because they literally never show up. IT'S GREAT but on the real we had two buses not show up in the time span of like 2 hours so we were stranded and late to two of our appointments! The first one was fine, we called her and let her know BUT I felt so bad for the second one! A member was having us over for tea and so we called her and let her know we'd be a few minutes late and all was well right??? WRONG. we followed google maps and it told us to go on this trail so we started on the trail ANNNNDDDDD dead end. So we were extra late to that appointment but that's okay because the member was REAL nice and came and picked us up after a while so we are grateful. Honestly, I think we need to learn not to let me have directions because somehow I always get lost following google maps or have us walk through areas where the grass is up to our knees... hahahaha classic sister farnworth. WE LOVE IT.
Me lost in the woods hahahaha!

LASTLY, we walked 7 miles on Saturday!!! Okay, we walk A LOT but never 7 miles in one day. OH MY GOODNESS YALL I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE. but no worries, I am alive and well hahaha but seriously it was quite the day, we just walked around and visited inactive members! Only one answered the door and didnt want us to visit again which is sad but that's okay!!! It ended really good though because when we got back to where we live we went tracting and knocked on one door and the man was Muslim and THE NICEST HUMAN EVER!! He talked to us for an hour, just telling us stories and neat experiences! IT WAS SO GOOD WE LOVE HIM. AH YES and his sons work at Nando's so he told us to ask for discounts, it was so funny! WE LOVE NICE PEOPLE AND LOTS OF WALKING.
Cute street in Buckley

ALSO, I had such an amazing experience this week. THE GOSPEL IS SO GOOD. Okay okay okay so we talked a lot about Angel's on my exchange and it's been something I've been studying! SO in Moroni 7:29-33 it talks about how Angel's are here still today and then describes missionaries and how we are Angel's. OKAY WE LOVE IT. So then I read a talked from Jeffery R. Holland and it's called "The Ministry of Angel's" and it talks about how we are ALL Angel's and there are still Angel's here to counsel us!!! AHHH so good, everyone go read it because you will LOVE it. It's just so good and so comforting. I love this gospel and I love the opportunity I have everyday to represent Jesus Christ. I love my Savior and all that hes done for me and you and all of us so that we can have happiness. IT'S AMAZING. IM SO HAPPY TO DO THIS WORK.
A member at church

Overall, it was a good week!!! We have so many funny experiences AND OH MY GOODNESS I SWEAR everywhere we go some man says I'm nice looking or gorgeous or something and it makes me laugh every time! Yesterday, there was a man that said he wants to meet just so he could look at me HAHAHAHA I was like ohhhhh my goodness Y'ALL NEED JESUS. It's so funny though and makes my day everyday so it's good hahaha I love it!! I LOVE ENGLAND AND I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY. I love you all and hope you all have the best week!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,

SUNNY DAYS - 07/01/2019

Members from Canada that paid for our meal at McDonalds!
OKAY WHAT EVEN HAPPENED THIS WEEK!  I feel like I lose track of my days and it all becomes a blur but this week was sooooo nice!! The weather was AMAZING and I definitely got a little tanner so you know I am happy about that! AHHH SO GOOD I LOVE THE SUN. BUT what an exciting time. WELL for starters, funny story. So we were at a tea appointment with a member and she was driving us to drop us off at the bus station but as soon as we got to the bus station, the bus drove off so we were like oh no! So we followed the bus and passed it and got in front of it and it was quite the adventure because THEN I had to stick my head/body out the window and wave down the bus driver to pull over at the next stop hahaha I'm pretty sure that's against every rule as a missionary but yanno gotta do what I gotta do! BUT classic sister farnworth, it was so funny!! Then the bus pulled over and we got on the bus and everyone was laughing and some people were like we were so confused why a girl was hanging out the window and stuff it was so funny hahaha definitely something I will never forget it was so good!! OH, ALSO area book changed for every missionary in Europe this week! It's rough because we can't write how the lessons went anymore or anything, we can only mark the principles that we talked about and what we committed the people to do. IT'S ROUGH because let me tell you, I have the worst memory in the whole entire world and so that'll be a struggle but it'll be good because I will have a good memory by the time I get home!!! YEET. But yes so that was an exciting time in this week and it'll be an adjustment but it definitely is understandable for privacy purposes!!!
service project with the young women!!!!

This was a good week with the work though! We are meeting so many great people and having such good conversations. I talked to this one man who said I was gonna get skin cancer and he touched my face and told me to keep the sun off of it so that was fun! And we were tracting one day and we knocked on this man's house and he answered and wasn't interested so we were like oh okay no worries but before we left, Sister Ellsworth was like "well what brings you joy in life?" And homeboy was like "when people don't knock on my door" and it took both of us a second to process but I was like oh hahaha okay well have a good day then we walked away. It was so funny and made me laugh so hard! But that was a good time, people are fun and tracting is like my favorite thing because you meet all different kinds of people and that's just so fun!!! We also met this man that was doing the CO detector in our flat and he was talking to us about New York and 9/11 and it was so neat!! He was the nicest human and we weren't talking about any gospel things but the spirit was so strong and it was just so good. He was great and made our day for sure!!
Sister Ellsworth and I with diet lemonade a member gave us

ALSO, our friends are doing so good, most of them have made so much progress which makes me so happy! One of them has been distancing himself which is sad but he said he needs a minute and he will text us when he's ready so we are praying for him. I literally cried about it because I love our friends and I love this gospel and I just want everyone to be happy and I know this can help them so that was sad!!! AHH but it's okay and itll all end up good so that's okay! THEN we met with a couple returning members this week and they both said they would come to church next Sunday so that was so good!!!! I LOVE THE PEOPLE HERE.

Mirror selfie in the bathroom at the chapel

This week was an interesting week, everyone kept canceling and plans kept falling through and buses kept not coming so it was rough. This made me want to study a lot about Charity and Love AND IT'S BEEN SO GOOD. I read Ether 12:33-34 and I just felt so much love!!! Heavenly Father loves us so much and since he loves us he sent his Son who laid his life down for US!! HOW AMAZING IS THAT. I don't know it just makes me think about how loved we are and that just really helps me every single day! Charity truly brings happiness into our lives and it's so important to be charitable every day!!! I LOVE THE GOSPEL AND I LOVE THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE HAVE. IT'S SO GOOD. I'm so grateful to know that our Savior has that much love for us and I am so beyond lucky to share that knowledge with others!! AHHH I LOVE IT.
Look how pretty!

ANYWHO, I hope you all have a good week!! I'll talk to you next week!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,

TELL MA WE MADE IT - 06/24/2019

A cute friend we met with!

OKAY, THIS WEEK WAS SO GOOD!!! AHHHHH. Okay so first to explain the title, our mission made it in the newspaper! Here's the article and it talks about how we have missionaries outside of the theater for the musical The Book of Mormon to answer any questions about the book! Then there are some quotes from our mission president which was so good and ahhh it's all so good! There are a couple people on date to be baptized that the missionaries met when they were standing outside after the musical. WE LOVE MISSIONARY WORK. But yes I just thought it was neat that our mission was in the newspaper and it made me SO happy!!! SO YES WE MADE IT AND PLEASE ENJOY.
Celebrating Sister Ellsworth's 5 month

ANYWHO I'm just so happy and this week was so good! OKAY FIRST I met the sweetest couple from Maryland, they were so nice!!! I love my fellow Americans they're just so nice and friendly! We talked about why I'm here and about the Book of Mormon (they loved the musical) and just alllll that fun stuff!!! AHH SO GOOD. Then we met this lad named Liam and he is moving to Pittsburgh because he's a soccer coach or something but he was super nice and he's met with missionaries before which was exciting but he's great! OH and then this lad came up to me and I said hiya and he kept poking my arm with his finger and said I was a liar because religion ruined his marriage and stuff and I was like in shock by what was happening it was wild!!! BUUUT that was fun and it made for some good memories which is always good! Oh yes, and I met a couple that (from what I understood) started their own church and they were nice and asked me some questions and honestly I didnt know the answer to all of them but I just depended on the Lord and it was so good because I knew exactly what to say. But yeah that was exciting and they said I was deceived so they asked if they could pray for me and I said sure so we were just in the middle of the street and they prayed for me which was fun! Then when they were leaving they took a Book of Mormon and a pass along card and left so it was fun! I was like okay well we'll see what happens with that what but it was a good experience!!! Hopefully they read the book and come to learn it's true!!!

Cute street I walk down everyday!

We also did a lot of tracting this week and called by a lot of returning members which is always fun! We met some nice people and none of them were interested in learning more but they were all great! While we were doing call by's, Sister Ellsworth told me the whole plot of Pride and Prejudice one day and then the next day, the whole plot of The Gruensay Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and overall it took a total of 5 hours but it was actually pretty exciting and I'm a little butthurt I can't watch those more for 15.5 months BUT THAT'S OKAY. But that was fun THEN we went to Chester and celebrated Sister Ellsworth's 5 month with ice cream and there was this HUGE parade going on! We're pretty sure it was like a Shakespeare thing but it was really neat and fun and AHHHH SO GOOD. I love it here!!!

WHAT ELSE. OKAY, THIS WEEK WE HAD ZONE CONFERENCE. AHHH it was amazing!! Elder Sabin from the Seventy came and he is just so amazing ahhhh I loved it so much! The spirit was so strong and it was so amazing! He said a lot of amazing things but a few things I LOVED were when he said to "attack the day" AND ITS MY NEW MOTTO. He said to act like the day you're in is the only day that you have to do this work and it's so true because when you do that then it makes you work 10000x harder and it just was so good to hear! Also he said that however long you have left, make that your new call so you feel just as motivated as you did in the beginning of your mission. I loved that!!! Like when you get discourage just make your time you have left your new call I LOVE IT. He actually had a talk from a general conference a little bit ago so everyone go on your gospel library app and look him up and read it, IT'S SO GOOD. Also, his wife spoke and she said something about how we are exactly where we are supposed to be and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I definitely have my moments where I ask myself if I'm doing what I'm supposed to but right when she said that I thought about a part of my patriarchal blessing where it talks about my kids will learn their first gospel lessons at my knee and it hit me that I am not only here for myself but also for my future family and it just came to be all the encouragement I needed AHHHH I LOVE IT. okay but I just love this gospel and I am SO HAPPY. Every day I feel closer to Christ and I just love that I have been able to deepen my conversion and built my relationship with Him. THIS CHURCH IS TRUE AND THE GOSPEL IS AMAZING. I'm blessed to be out here doing this work and I am blessed to not be alone as I do it!!!

I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

The elders put this toy baby leg in my pillowcase and
I slept with it there and didn't even realize... good times!!!

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch - 06/17/2019

We went to a castle this week!!
Okay, first of all, I have no idea how you say the title, it's in Welsh AND second, we went to a castle this week and it was AMAZING!!! We went down to this place called Anglesey (we stopped at the place in the title on the way) and a member took us it was so fun!!! We saw the ocean and ate some fish & chips and then went into this castle in Caernarfon which was SO neat! We got some cutie pictures and did some exploring it was so good!!!
I tried to remake this picture from Jacob's mission BUT didn't remember what he was doing in his so here's my (probably bad) remake of Jacob's picture!!!! But it was so good and pretty and we took some cute pictures! AHHHH I LOVE IT HERE IT'S SO PRETTY I WISH YOU COULD ALL SEE IT. It's so weird because sometimes I just get so caught up in the work and I forget that I'm in England! Like I will be walking down the street and I think what's normal to me, would be so exciting for other people to see and I feel like I really take that for granted so yanno I'm trying to do better with that and remembering how lucky I am!!!

ANYWHO, this week wasn't anything big! It has been raining like CRAZY. Oh my goodness everywhere is flooding and it's just wild, the locals are saying that they have never seen this in their 30+ years of living here. I WAS LIKE WHAAAAT. So that's my life, it's rainy and kinda chilly but that's okay I'm still living my best life! We met with some of our friends and those went really well, our friends are progressing and it's so interesting how your love for the people just reaaaaallly grows!!! We have one friend that is kind of struggling and it just genuinely hurts my heart because you truly have a love towards the people you teach and you just want them to be as happy as he can be and I know that this gospel can give that to him so it's just HARD. BUT I am very confident that it'll all work out how its suppose to so we chillin!!!! OH ALSO we met with one of our friends and it went really well, we talked about how important it is to look for the joy in every day. He struggles with the concept that there is something good in every day and the concept that his life is good because a lot of things have gone wrong for him which breaks my heart BUT HE'S SO NICE. He wanted to say thank you for what we did for him and stopping and talking to him and being willing to share our message so he gave us some soaps :') it was so nice!!!
American food!!

AND this week we had transfers so we have a couple new elders in our district and they are funny! One is from American Fork and I haven't met him yet but he seems nice and then another is from Logan and he is super nice!! We see him and his companion a lot since we are in the same area! They are fun and we have some laughs. It's fun!!! BUT the races are on again and so on Saturday we went down to the races and all picked horses and I thought  I would get lucky with horse number two again BUUUUT nope my horse got last..... sadly. But it's okay I got over it real quick because my horse got first last time SO WE CHILLIN. OH also funny story, I was shopping and someone stopped me and asked if I was a nun and I was confused at first but apparently I look like a nun it was really funny, I was just so shocked!!! FINALLY, we went to FIVE GUYS. It was so good to eat a burger and just feel like I was at home again.... it made me miss in n out so bad hahaha so everyone go get some in n out in honor of me please and thank you!!!! AHH it was good and a taste of back home, it was great!!!

BUT I dont know this week was just a normal week and nothing too exciting happened!! It was honestly kind of a weird week because no one really texted us back and a few people canceled on us last minute so the vibes were off yanno??? I don't know I mean all is well but it was just a different week! AND I feel like nothing too exciting happened so I don't have any exciting stories for anyone I am sorry to my fans ;) just kidding no one is my fan but I am sorry that I don't have any fun stories for anyone!!! I DO HAVE A GOOD SPIRITUAL THOUGHT THOUGH.

OKAY so this upcoming week we have zone conference and someone from the Area Presidency is coming to speak at it so he gave us some scriptures to study in preparation for that so I was studying and I came across Proverbs 3:5-6 and it was so good!!! AHHH I love it. Okay, it talks about how we need to rely on the Lord and not our own knowledge and when we do that, He will guide us. It made me think that this isn't my work, it's His and I'm just a mouthpiece for him AND that has stuck with me. It has helped me so much this week and just with my confidence. BUT what's even better is that it applies to any situation! I've said this before and I'll say it again, when we give our struggles and problems to our Savior, he will help us and guide us!!! I can testify of the truthfulness of that till the day I die, it's just so good.

I LOVE THIS GOSPEL AND I AM SO HAPPY. I love you all, I'll talk to you next week!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

AND THAT'S THE TEA, SIS - 06/11/19

OKAY hello everybody listen to this hahahaha
Pic of Meg from a couple on a cruise!!
so funny story, so every week we have a night where the whole district calls in and we do something fun to bond as a district. SO we were having district night (not this last thursday but the thursday before) and we were playing the shabooooya roll-call game from the office (if you dont know the game, it's pretty much a roast sesh it's great we love it) and one of the elders took it a little too far when he said something about me and one of the other elders ended the call right away SO that caused drama and I didn't care about what was said and I said it was all good but the elder that said it made it a bigger deal than it needed to be and was upset with the elder that ended the call and so the one that ended the call kinda dealt with that drama and the mission president and the AP's all got told about it and I'm just out here trying to do the work WHY IS DRAMA A THING. I don't know but it's finally all good now I think we got it all figured out I don't even know I'm just chilling hahaha but that's the tea for this week and I've always wanted to use that as a title for my weekly so I am a very happy chicken nugget right now hahaha

WHAT AN EXCITING WEEK. Okay if I could describe this week in one word it would be RAIN. Oh my goodness it is raining so much and it is cooooold, it's June and the high is somewhere in the 50's so it's a little bit chilly but we are living our best life!!! This week we celebrated my two month and Sister Ellsworth's four month with four scoops of ice cream EACH. oh I thought I was going to explode I could barely finish it!!! But that was fun and made for some good memories THEN the next day we had First Five Weeks. SAY WHAT. I'm done with my first transfer!!!! Isn't that just so wild??? I don't know about anyone else but this has been the quickest six weeks of my life and the quickest two months ever!!!! But First Five Weeks was AMAZING. We woke up at 5:30 to get the train to go to the mission home in Manchester and that was exciting but just all day the spirit was just amazing!! AHHHH I LOVE THIS GOSPEL. Okay, so we talked mainly about our purpose and how we can do better and how we can always focus on what we need to be focusing on. One thing I loved that we discussed was if you want to change, then CHANGE. It reminded me a lot of the serenity prayer, accept the things I cannot change and change the things I can!!! If we want to change the way we are doing something or the way something is happening, we can!! We can't control other people but we can control ourselves and our thoughts and how we react to things and I think that's something that we can forget at times because we get so caught up in the negativity of the world. BUT at the end of the day, if you want to be better or happier in whatever you're doing then do something about it and WHATS EVEN BETTER is that God will help you through it all without a doubt!!!!

On Thursday night we had a district night and we do this thing where we buy kinder eggs with toys in them and whatever the toy is that's in them, we predict what your next transfer is going to be like! I got this spiny dude and it's really fun to play with so that was exciting!!! Everyone said I was going to get a new companion and be spinning because they'll be really hard! BUT all is well because we got transfer calls yesterday and Sister Ellsworth is staying so YEET. Then we met with this man and he was trying to tell us how we didn't know the full truth and we need to study more and all this stuff and Sister Ellsworth and him were mostly talking while I was just smiling the whole time and he was like what are you thinking and I was like honestly at the end of the day, we can all think what we want but the main message is that we should all love each other just like Christ does and the spirit was like WOAHHHH it was great the man was done talking after I said that and it was so good!  Then we went and had lunch at this place called Gregg's and it is like my favorite place ever!! It's SO YUMMY. but we had a really deep talk and the spirit was SO STRONG. It was so wild though because it was so noisy and there were babies crying and it was not your ideal situation but I can't even describe how strong the spirit was, it was amazing. THEN another friend set a date to be baptized so we are SOOOOO excited for her!!! She's so sweet and taught us lots of patience but AGH WE JUST LOVE HER. Then we went and had tea at Nando's for the last time as the Chester group and our friend Joe came and we took this cutie Polaroid and it was so so fun!!! I'm gonna gain some weight though because that is our SIXTH time going to Nando's this transfer hahahaha it's so worth it though!!!

Then we met a new friend, he is great! He has had a lot of hard things happen in his life but he wants to find his light again and is willing to give religion a try which is really good and makes me happy! We also visited this inactive member and she is GREAT. She hasn't been to church for a while because of health problems (she also smokes so that doesn't help the health problem but that's okay) but she still believes in it all and she studies at home and her husband recently passed away but she is trying to have someone do his temple work so that she can be sealed to him! She is SO NICE. I seriously love her and she gave me the greatest hug EVER I was like awww you're like my favorite human!! It was so fun and such a good visit!!! We also had tea with the senior couple in my area, they are AMAZING. They are from Holladay, UT and seriously the sweetest people! They sent us home with this stuff called Sticky Toffee Pudding and it is my favorite dessert ever so it was just amazing!!!

THEN FINALLY, OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE. we woke up and I got back in the room after going to the toilet and there was a spider the size of an egg on the wall. YOU GUYS. WHAT. It was the scariest thing I've ever experienced and I just thought we were gonna have to burn down our flat and I'd have to go home but I killed it and so we're good now hahaha BUT yeah anywho, we went finding for people but just found a bunch of tourists that weren't interested, we love tourist season!!! But it's all good, every Monday night a family in the ward does a family home evening for whoever wants to come and we normally don't get to go because we don't have a ride but we did this week and it was so good!!! The man that owns the home always says I'm trouble and I don't know how he came up with that (I think the elders said I was) but now I'm just known as trouble it's so funny and makes my day!!! ANYWHO We talked about the crucifixion of Christ and what he truly did for us and how amazing that is! AND IT'S SO TRUE. Like AHHHH what Christ did for us is amazing and it's so amazing to know that someone loves us all so much that he would do something like that for us! AHHHH IT'S JUST SO GOOD.

OH MY GOODNESS THIS EMAIL IS SO LONG IM SO SORRY. Last thing, this transfer we were invited to read the Book of Mormon and highlight every reference to Christ and I finished yesterday and it was just amazing! You don't realize how much it really talks about Christ in the Book of Mormon until you do that and when you do, it really just testifies the truthfulness of the Book even more!!!! Sometimes I wish I could just stand on the rooftops and be like YO IT'S SO TRUE JUST READ IT AND YOULL BE SO HAPPY. But sadly, Ican't do that but that's okay!!! I just love this gospel so much and I love the things that I've learned!! I know that it's all true and the happiness that it brings and this gospel brings is unbeatable. AHHH it's just all so good and I love it all. OKAY that's all, have a good week everyone and I'll talk to you next week!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

PAPARRAZI BABY - 06/03/2019

Sister Ellsworth and me!
HELLO HELLO HELLO FRIENDS. CAN WE JUST ADDRESS THE FACT THAT IT IS ALREADY JUNE?!!!!?????? WHAT? I AM SHOOKETH Y'ALL DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND. This is wild but I have learned so much, it's great and I'm happy!!!

okay FIRST let me explain the title, I have had THREE tourists stop me to take pictures of/with me this week, two were in one day and one was the next day hahahaha so on the first day, we were doing a street display so I was on one side of the street and Sister Ellsworth was on the other and a man stopped me and he was from Taiwan and he just said I was beautiful so he had to take a picture of me and I don't think I was paying attention in the photo because I had no idea what was going on but it's the thought that counts :') then there was a lady from Canada and we were talking about how she's a member and then she was like "go over there" so I was like what okay hahaha then she took my picture because she wanted to show everyone back home she saw a missionary hahahaha CUTEST. Then on the last day, there was a tourist that saw me and Sister Ellsworth and stopped us as we were walking to take a picture. We're just so famous I can't handle it hahahaha just kidding but okay let's get to the real business

A random pic so you remember
what i look like!

THIS WEEK WAS A GOOD WEEK! I was still feeling sick at the beginning of the week but I'm just living my best life so it is alllll good in the hood and I feel better now so it's great!!! BUT AH OKAY where do I even begin! So we didn't have many lessons with people because everyone bailed, it was so sad!! BUT ALL IS WEEEELLLLLL and we got to do a lot of finding which is always good AND the lessons we did have were amazing so it was wellll worth it!!!! ALSO, THE FUNNIEST THING HAPPENED. So we were walking down the street in Chester saying hi to people and doing the good old missionary work and Sister Ellsworth goes "uhhh I think a bird just pooped on my head" AND I LOOK ON HER HEAD AND A LITTLE PIECE OF BIRD POOP WAS ON HER HEAD. hahahahaha I was dying it was so funny!!!! Good times good times. BUT yes what else, oh, we had tea at this new-ish members home AND IT WAS SO FUN. She lives on a farm and I met all her horses and it was just great!!! Then we ate and it was yummy and we went to this Book of Mormon class that we have every Wednesday which is always GREAT. Our new friend, Joe, came and he's solid, he really likes the Book of Mormon so he liked the class, it was really good for him!!!! Then after we had this ward coordination where we planned our Ward BBQ that'll be in July and it's American themed so LET'S GO BABY. I'm so excited for that!!!! Then the day ended with this AMAZING sunset so I took this picture, it doesn't even do it justice but it was just amazing AHHHHHH I LOVE IT, please enjoy.

Then for most of the week we just tried getting in contact with less active members which is always a party! There was one home that was abandoned and we didn't know but we went up to it and these young teenagers were like "Oh are you gonna break in? We'll do it with you" and I was like mmmm probably not hahaha it was interesting experience!!! Then we had a man that pretended he didn't know English and then others just say oh heeeeeecckkkkk no (they didn't say heck) it was funny but I get it we all have our own choice and we love them no matter what!!! So that was an exciting time for sure and since we don't have a car we just walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk. It's honestly really good and stopping to talk to people along the street is a lot more fun that you would think! BUT we were able to meet with Joe AND OH MY GOODNESS he is just amazing!!! We texted him in the middle of the week to see how he was doing with his Book of Mormon reading and he said it's oddly addictive to read and he was just gonna read a chapter a day but he can't put it down, THAT IS LIKE HEAVEN FOR A MISSIONARY TO HEAR YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND. Sister Ellsworth and I were in the middle of this cafe when we read that text and we were like freaking out and we were just so happy it was great!!!! Then a few days later we had a really good lesson with him AND HE WANTS TO GET BAPTISED!!!!!! WHAT. IT WAS AMAZING. I am so excited for him and the choice that he has made!!!! AHHHH I LOVE THIS GOSPEL AND I LOVE SEEING HOW IT CAN BLESS LIVES. What a good time in the life of Sister Farnworth. We also met this man on Sunday and we saw him on the bus and he was in a wheelchair and he seemed to be in pain or just sad but we both felt like we should talk to him and tell him that everything will be okay so we did! It was amazing and it was just a conversation next to the bus stop but the spirit was so strong and it was just great AHHHH. But hopefully we see him again and meet with him because he is amazing!!

OKAY LASTLY. So this week I was really trying to study confidence!!!! I feel like in life, especially as a missionary, you gotta be a confident person. You have to have some kind of confidence to meet new people or present something in class or talk to random people about the Church of Jesus Christ which is DEFINITELY something that gets you out of your comfort zone! In Preach My Gospel, it talks about how there are people that have the knowledge and just go through the motions and there are people that rely on the Lord and are more confident and genuine. I just feel like in any situation it's so important to remember to rely on the Lord and give your problems to Him because he truly will help you and give you that confidence to get through your struggles. I feel like all my spiritual thoughts are similar but it truly all goes hand in hand!!! It's so comforting to know that there is someone that we can be confident through and that we aren't doing this all alone! That in itself gives me confidence for sure!!! But it's just amazing and I know the Lord is by my side all the time and I am confident in that. IT'S GREAT!!!

I love this gospel and all of you! I hope you have the best week ever!!!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

p.s. transfers are next week so my p-day will be on tuesday
