WE LOVE SOME FOOD POISONING - 09/15/2019

exchanges with sister robertson and sister ott!!!
exchanges with sister robertson and sister ott!!!

OKAY LETS TALK ABOUT THIS CRAZY WEEK SISTER FARNWORTH HAS HAD. For starters, Monday night we had a little sleepover with some sisters in the mission because they couldn't sleep at their flat and it was so fun!!! THEN Tuesday and Wednesday were the best, hardest days of my life!! SO we were getting ready to go on exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders in Newcastle/Stoke area and my stomach hurt SOOOO bad! I seriously thought I was gonna die BUT I put it off and just decided to carry on with life and we traveled there and it was rough, let me tell ya! Longest trip of my life!!!! THEN we finally got there and my stomach was KILLING me so I got some medicine and carried on with the good old missionary work, which I am so grateful I did because we taught one of their friends and she asked when she could be baptized!!! WHAT???! It was AMAAAAZING. We were so happy!!!!! THEN we went home and the next day (Wednesday) was ROUGH. Here is a little too much information BUT I was sitting there dying because of my stomach and I prayed like 18287297 times that I would just throw up and get this all out of my system!!! WELL, I didn't at that moment but then some elders came and gave me a blessing and it was exactly what I needed so I am SO grateful for them and that they could do that for me because shortly after my prayer was answered and life was good!!!! OKAY I know it sounds wild but it was the best experience because I learned SO much (just like I learn every week). LIKE how much we need the Lord in our lives!!! I know I couldn't have made it through this by myself and I know that He was there for me every step of the way!!! AHHH it was amazing!!! SO GRATEFUL.

zone conference!!

THEN we had Zone Conference and that was an experience! SO we woke up early to go and got a bus and we were waiting at this bus stop for this other bus AND IT DRIVES RIGHT BY US. Hahahahah so we RAN and the elders were on the bus so they talked to the driver and he said he wouldn't stop because it wasn't a stop and he wouldn't wait for us and it was just a MORNING. BUT then Zone Conference was amazing and we talked about our testimonies and how we can plan better and just be better missionaries. I always love Zone Conference so it was just amazing like always!!! I was asked to speak at it (scary!!!!) AND Sister Johnson and I sang so it was an exciting one!! BUT we loved it!!!!

Then we saw the Lord's hand in so many ways on Saturday! One of our friends canceled her meeting with us last minute so we had to hurry and do something else. Well, we decided to go to this town called Buckley (where I use to live) and visit some people who use to be interested but weren't taught anymore AND inactive members. We started knocking on their doors but no one was in SOOO we got to the last one and no answer so I turned and said "mmmm okay let's tract!" so we did!!!! AND IT WAS SO INSPIRED because we made two new friends in the span of three minutes from knocking on those doors down that street!!! What a testament that the Lord is helping us in our efforts AHHH I am so grateful!!!! I love it!!!
The Zoo!! Sister Johnson and our friend!

ALSO FINALLY TO TOP IT ALL OF, we went to the Chester Zoo with our friend!!! It was amazing and she is amazing, she use to work there so she got us free tickets! IT WAS SO NICE. AHHHH this truly was the greatest craziest week of my life!!!

BUT YES. I love this work so much, even when I get sick or a bus driver drives right past Sister Johnson and I. There is seriously nothing better than sharing something you love in a place you love with people you love!!!! I am so lucky and blessed to be a missionary and to know that the Lord is there for me always. He is there for all of you and I can say that without a doubt!!!! A scripture that we talked a lot about this week was in d&c 6:36 (a classic) and it says...

Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not"

The Savior is with us in every thought!!!! I KNOW IT! I can promise that when we rely on Him and TRUST Him, He will help us and He just waiting for us to ask for it!!! AHHH SO GOOD OKAY. Everyone have the best week, I'll talk to you next week!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,

sister farnworth

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN!!?? - 09/09/2019

HELLO HELLO HELLLLLLLO MY FRIENDS. Okay so this week was wild BUT like always, let me start off with explaining this title!! SO Sister Johnson and I were sitting in the Storehouse, which is a library/cinema/theater/cafe/anything you want it to be, and we were waiting for our friend to come and meet with us. This man comes over and says "did you go to University of Michigan?" so we were like mmmm no then we asked him if he has (since we're missionaries and talk to everyone) and he pretty much says in reality no, but in a dream yes (but in a VERY complicated way). THEN we left because we needed somewhere where we could sit with our friend and this man follows us all around Storyhouse!!! It was wild and not gonna lie we were a little nervous, but it was definitely something we will never forget!! BUT YES WE LOVE IT BECAUSE ALL IS WELL, YANNO?
last meal with the boyers and we're sad about it :(

ANYWHO, let's talk about our week. For starters, winter is coming!!!! It is definitely starting to get a little chilly here in the UK but it's not too bad so were doing good! Sister Johnson and I have no idea what to expect so we're just little bit nervous about what it's going to he like BUT all is well and so far, so good!!! THEN ALSO, the Boyer's (senior couple in our area aka my mission grandparents) officially left and let me tell you, I love them so much and I am so sad about it!!!! They are the most pure souls and their love for the gospel is AMAAAAZING. We will miss them SO SO much and Chester hasn't been the same with out them. IT WAS HEARTBREAKING to go to church and not see them there! AHHH SO sad, they will be so missed!!!

Let the cold weather begin!!

ANNNND then, we saw so many miracles this week!!! We have been teaching lots of inactive members but not as many people with interested, we have been trying SO hard to find people BUT havent had much luck but we keep trying because we know that the Lord sees our efforts BECAUSE we made two new friends who have so much potential and we are so excited to meet with them more regularly! SO the first one I met when I was companions with Sister Ellsworth! We met when we were tracting (knocking on doors) around our estate and he was so nice and promised he'd listen but didnt have time then SO we were like okay we will be back. We kept going back and it kept not working out BUT he kept promising so we didnt give up and we finally caught him at the right time this week so we were able to meet and he is interested to keep meeting!!! THEN we met another lady a couple of weeks ago on the bus and when we were tracting some more around our estate, we knocked on her door!! She was interested in meeting again so we set up a time that we will meet and we are excited for that as well!! HONESTLY, the Lord is amazing, his work is AMAZING and miracles are SO REAL. We are so happy to work with this people!!!
sister johnson's sister sent her coconut syrup so we made some dirty diet cokes!!!!!

HMM another happy thing is Sister Johnson hit her TWO month mark this week!!! She is amazing and has grown SO much so I am so happy for her! ALSO, TOMORROW IS MY FIVE MONTH MARK. Where is time going?!??? IS THIS ALLOWED?? I don't know but I don't think it should be!!! CRAZY.

LASTLY, my favorite conference talk in the whole world is Christ: The Light That Shines in Darkness by Sharon Eubank. IT IS AMAZING!!! I seriously listen to it almost every morning BUT it's okay it's so worth it. ANYWHO, I was reading the New Testament and the scripture Matthew 1:23 is honestly one of my favorites!! It is talking about the birth of Jesus Christ and it says..

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

WELL, in the talk she quotes the last line that is "God with us." and then says that He is surely with you. HOW AMAZING IS IT TO KNOW THAT OUR SAVIOR AND BEST FRIEND IS ALWAYS WITH US. I love that!!! I love the knowledge that we can have to know that our best friend, Jesus Christ, is always with us. We are never EVER alone and I know that to be true and can testify it till the day I die! I love it so much!!!! I LOVE THE GOSPEL.

OKAY, THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY, I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE THE GREATEST WEEK.

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

MEGS LANE - 09/03/2019

MEG'S LANE!!!

WELLL TELL MA I MADE IT. There is a street in the area I'm serving called Megs Lane and I ALWAYS wanted to go visit it SO bad so we finally got to visit it and I WAS SO HAPPY. I feel so honored to know there is a street with my name in it so I HAAAAD to take a photo with it!!! So please enjoy this photo of Meg on Megs Lane :')

funeral for elder and sister boyer!!!!

OKAY, this email will be a quick one so everyone buckle up and get ready for a lot of information really quick!! SO we had Sister Johnson's first five weeks meeting this week and it was AMAAAZING. I honestly think that there is nowhere better than the mission home, I love it so much!!! We talked about finding and just how to be a good missionary which was really good! WE ALSO had a funeral for the senior couple in our area that go home this transfer... we are all so sad and we will miss them SO MUCH!! Luckily they live close to our family in Utah so I will see them again soon. BUT yes that was so sad! We also did LOTS of finding this week, we didn't find anyone BUUUUUT we worked hard and learned so much!! Honestly, the way I look at it is, God wants to push us to make sure we're ready when he does send someone prepared our way! SO we are still going to work hard because we know that God is preparing those souls for us!!! Lastly, we got transfer calls and I am staying in Chester!!! Sister Johnson and I are SO happy to stay together another transfer so that'll be good and we are ready to work hard!!!

cute package from the fam!!!

random pics of us while tracting!!!

OVERALL, this week was amazing!!! We got to do a lot of work and get a lot done which was good!!! I LOVE ENGLAND/WALES SO MUCH. I am so grateful to be a missionary and to serve and do something I love more than anything, IT'S SO GOOD. I love this gospel and I know we have a Father in heaven who loves us so much more than we know!! IT'S SO SO INCREDIBLE. I started the Book of Mormon again this past week and I was reading in 2 Nephi 9:52 and it says

52 Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts rejoice.

WOW, I LOVE THIS. I love prayer and I know that our Heavenly Father is there to answer our prayers, always. He is truly our best friend and waiting to hear from us!!!! HOW WONDERFUL IS THAT???? AH, I love it!

WELL HAVE A GOOD WEEK. ILL TALK TO YOU NEXT WEEK!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

ONE BLIND MISSIONARY - 08/26/2019

Exchanges!!

HELLO AGAIN. I miss you all so much BUT I love England with my whole heart and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!!! I say that every week, I know, but it's so true!!! OKAY so funny story, we were at a tea appointment and I was just listening to the member tell her story and I blinked ANNNNND my contact dried up so it fell out hahaha it was so funny I was laughing so hard!!! AND you see it was only 5 o'clock in the afternoon and we weren't going to get home until 9 SO I had to get through the next four hours with one contact in. Then we left the tea appointment and went to our Book to Mormon discussion we have once a week AND I was trying to read with one contact in but that was absolute rubbish and hurt my little eyes so I had to take out my other one and I felt so blind!!! I couldn't see anything!! GOOD THING that you feel the spirit and don't see it or else I would have been in big trouble!!! BUT it was still good and I just really hope that no one smiled at me or mouthed something to me or else I'd feel really bad because I couldn't see anything hahaha good times good times!!!

The school we painted!!

This week was an amaaaaazing week with so many spiritual experiences as well as some good fun!! Okay so first, we did a service project and helped paint inside of a school before the school year started and it was so fun!! There were spiders everywhere (I hate spiders hahahaa) and CLASSIC SISTER FARNWORTH MOMENT, I am so dumb I literally walked right into a can of paint so I got paint on my trousers it was so funny!!! Every blonde moment I have I just think of how classic of a thing that is for me to do SO I just let it happen!!! It was so fun!! THEEEN I don't know what's going on with me but I miss cheering so much so every cheer in the whole world has been stuck in my head and I just keep wanting to do cheers so I just keep showing Sister Johnson and one night I will teach her one, don't you worry!!!!

OKAY YES SO GOOD also we met a man last week while doing a street display and we taught him this week and while we were teaching him, a man at the table next to us was TOTALLY eavesdropping into our conversation. SO right when we finished with our friend we were teaching I turned to Sister Johnson and was like we need to talk to him, then she replied and said she had the same exact feeling!! Okay, so we all know that that is a prompting you can't pass up so we talked to him and he was interested!!! We will be meeting with him this week and we are SO excited! THEN we had exchanges up in Liverpool and they were so so so so good! We went to a tea appointment at a couple of members home with an inactive member and it was the most amazing tea appointment, we talked about how we came to know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true! Both the members bore their testimonies and the spirit was SO strong. AH, it was one of my favorite experiences and such a blessing!!!
Going to the temple with Emily!!

An amazing day at the temple!
We also got to go to the temple with our recent convert, Emily! it was the greatest experience for her and such a blessing to see someone you taught enter the temple, it made me so happy!!! AHHHH I love this gospel. It also reminded me of all the times I went to the temple when I was younger and before my mission!! I love the temple so so much so I was very happy!!!
Random Pics

Okay now let's get real, being a missionary is REAL challenging and it can be tough BUT I just keep remembering that God doesn't give us anything we can't handle. I think it's so important to remember that as we go through life and through any challenge that is put in our path because WE CAN OVERCOME IT!!! I know it! AND sometimes we don't know the meaning behind our trials or challenges but there is a scripture that I LOVE and always think of. It's 1 Nephi 11:17 and it says...

17 And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.

SO SIMPLE BUT SO POWERFUL. It's pretty much Nephi saying yanno I don't know why God does everything he does or why everything that happens has to happen BUT we do know that he loves us which pretty much means he is cheering us on and there to help us whenever we need. HOW GREAT IS THAT??? so good. AH.

OKAY WELL, I love you all and I hope you have a fantabulous week!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,

sister farnworth

fun fact: this is the church that dan jones(someone who worked closely with joseph smith)was christened and we were in the town he lived in growing up it was amazing!!!

FARM GIRLS - 08/19/2019

Sister Johnson and Sister Farnworth!!!
Pictures from the farm!!
HELLO MY FRIENDS THAT I LOVE SO MUCH!! Ah, this week was SO SO good and I am so happy to be a missionary!!! We went to a recent converts home this week for tea AND she lives on a farm and OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS AMAZING. One of her shepherdest took us around and showed us the lambs and the sheep and I honestly felt like I was in a movie and it wasn't real!!! I decided that I could live on a farm because the peace of just sitting in the fields with lambs and sheep would be a DREAM. I sound like such a nerd right now I know BUT IT WAS SO SO AMAZING YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND. AH, then she took us to this view to eat our tea and wowwww it was INCREDIBLE. I was in heaven and it was so pure!!! Then we went into her car for the spiritual thought and we were watching a video on faith and right after she was like oh excuse me so we were both like what the heck is everything okay then she went outside and was looking for something and she lost her dentures!!! It was the purest thing ever and my love grew x181939382 for her because it turned out she had them the whole time! AHHH it was the greatest tea appointment of my life and I just love her with my whole heart!!! BUT ENJOY THESE PICS FROM IT.
More pics from the farm

OTHER THAN OUR FARM GIRL EXPERIENCE. it was still an AMAZING week!!! We definitely can testify of spiritual promptings for daaaaaaays BUT one day stood out more than others. We just finished a lesson with one of our friends and were going to try by some inactive members WELL we starting walking and I thought no we should do some finding so I turned to Sister Johnson and I was like yanno I think we should go and find some people to teach. WELL I didn't know if it was because there were people to find or if it was just me wanted to find or if the adversary knew the inactive members are ready to come back so we shouldn't go to then or whatever it was BUT I felt like we should so we did a street display and a man went up to Sister Johnson and was interested and wants to be taught!!! YOU KNOW WHAT it's not every day someone comes up to wanting to be taught so we both knew that we were supposed to do a street display so we could meet him. WHAT A BLESSING. It was so good and I am excited to see where that goes and I'm grateful for the spirit and the guidance that it give us!!! IT'S SO GOOD.

OKAY ALSO for my first two transfers here in Chester we have been trying to get in contact with this inactive member but it would always go wrong when we tried. FOR EXAMPLE either our phone would die or we would get caught up talking to people so we wouldn't have time, just time after time it wouldn't work out. WELL finally Sister Johnson and I made sure we stopped by her house and when we did she wasn't home but her partner was and gave us her contact information so we could get ahold of her. We texted her and she invited us over so we got to meet with her this last week and it was SO important!!! She is seriously the sweetest human and SUCH a blessing and she has had somethings shake her faith but she invited us back to help her remember her testimony and strengthen it. AH SO GOOD I am so happy to help bring that light of Christ back into her life and to help her grow closer to our Heavenly Father again. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I LOVE THIS WORK!!!!

We saw these swans while trying to contact inactive members, aren't they beautiful?

OKAY YES missionary work is great but want to know what's also great??? RAIN. Okay, it literally always rains here BUT the rain was wild this week!!! It was seriously a downpour and the wind was crazy so we couldn't use umbrellas it was just so funny!!! THEN we were waiting for a bus to go to tea at the bishop's and the bus didn't show up and I was just laughing so hard!!! SO GOOD. We got the whole ride situation figured out so that was good BUT I have truly learned to love the rain though and I could just sit in it all day so that has been REAL nice. I LOVE THE UK. OH ALSO nice people they are great!!! We were having a rough day and someone bashed on Sister Johnson SO we went to this library to take a minute and the NICEST man literally therapized us and it was so pure!!! He opened up a lot himself and has been through a lot but it was just so pure to know that there are good humans out there that genuinely care about people!!! AHHH AMAZING I LOVE IT.

WOW OKAY THIS IS SO LONG IM ALMOST DONE. There was a scripture I LOVED this week and I found it when we were studying "Come, Follow Me" AHH IT WAS SO GOOD. OKAY, so its Romans 8:18 and it says...

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

LET ME EXPLAIN THIS. Pretty much, its saying that our trials we are experiencing now are NOTHING compared to the glory that we will experience in the life to come. We have so much in store for us SO just keep hanging on because in the eternal perspective of things, it will get so much better so soon and it's ALL because of Christ and what he has done for us!!!! AH, IT'S SO GOOD AND SO TRUE. I LOVE THIS GOSPEL.

OKAY BYE I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE THE BEST WEEK!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

HOW MANY BUCKETS DOES IT TAKE TO FILL A BAPTISMAL FONT?!!!?? - 08/12/2019

Emily's Baptism-BEST DAY EVER!!
WELL, FRIENDS, ANOTHER WEEK HAS COME AND GONE and I'm gonna be honest I don't know how it's been going this quickly ALSO I don't know how people are so good at writing mass emails because this whole week was a blur!!! AH okay first to explain the title, our friend Emily got baptized on Saturday and GUESS WHAT. The font wasn't working, it wasn't filling up!!! Hahahaha so Sister Johnson and Elder Boyer and I got out some buckets and started running back and forth from the boiler room through the girl's bathroom to the font just to fill up the font... one bucket at a time. IT WAS TRAGIC hahaha I was laughing so hard and the water was cold and it took like 30 minutes to fill to the first step (we had to get to the fourth) and we only had 30 more minutes till the baptism sooooo we were in a bit of a pickle there!!! THEN LUCKILY, our prayers were answered and the font started filling on its own so we were able to go take pictures and it all worked out but it was the funniest thing of my life and definitely a moment I will never forget!!

BUT YES. YOU READ IT RIGHT. Emily was baptized!!! AH it was AMAAAAZING. The moment that she was baptized and came out of the water, you couldn't deny the Spirit that was there. It was so so strong and I am SO happy for her!! I couldn't control my emotions, I was a wreck. WOW, I just love this gospel!! I love being a missionary and helping people grow closer to Christ and our Heavenly Father!!!! She is honestly one of the most prepared people I have ever met, I know she will be the best member of the church and she will bless SO many lives!! I LOVE IT and IM SO HAPPY FOR HER. AH. Also, it was my FOUR months on Saturday!!! WHAT. We are shook, this time has gone by SO quick and I know itll only go by quicker from here so that honestly breaks my heart because I never want to leave. I love it here so much!!!! I love this work!!

We were able to work with a lot of inactive members this week and WOW I love them all! I (at least) have three more weeks here (hopefully more) and I love this area so much, i wish i could stay here my whole mission BUUUUT we all know that won't happen and i probably just jinxed myself by saying that, oh well! It has been so good and all the people we work with are so so good! We were at one member's home and her daughter was singing Mamma Mia and showing us her Marvel books and it was so pure I was so happy!! I definitely miss my Mamma Mia more than anything so honestly, that made my whole week!!! OH yes then we were walking around this week and we walked passed these dogs LITERALLY MODELING IN FRONT OF THE TELEPHONE BOOTHS. WHAT. ARE WE JOKING? I just hope you all appreciate this as much as I do because I was dying it was so so cute. OH, WHAT ELSE. It was a little bit chilly this week but yanno that's okay we livin' our best lives! I have decided I love rain and I think it's so good it's just so pure I love it! There was a HUGE thunderstorm the other night and it woke me up and not gonna lie, thought I was going to die for a second BUT all is well and I'm alive and it was really fun to listen to!!! AH so good. OH ALSO last funny story!! SO we were waiting for our bus and this kid comes up to us and says his friend fancies us and wants our number THEN says he works at the church so were like OH what church??? Hahahahaha turns out the church is a bar and we looked like a bunch of dummies so that was exciting hahaha WE LOVE IT.
Cutest photo ever!!
WELL. This week has been a good one and the spirit has been SO STRONG. We had Emily's baptism which was PERFECT and I wouldn't ask for anything different!! BUT during all of the good, we also a lot of things not working out and a lot of hard things happening to some people we are working with. SO I have been thinking a lot about our hardships in life and how the Lord isn't necessarily going to take away our hardships BUT he will strengthen us through them. WELL yanno what an amazing thing to be thinking because I've been reading the Book of Mormon again and I read in Mosiah 21 and it's talking about the group of people that believe in God and the ones that don't and how they're in  war because the ones that don't believe in God aren't happy with the ones that do! WELL the ones that believe in God prayed to Him and say yanno help us and in verses 14-15 it says...

14 And they did humble themselves even in the depths of humility, and they did cry mightily to God; yea, even all the day long did they cry unto their God that he would deliver them out of their afflictions.
15 And now the Lord was slow to hear their cry because of their iniquities; nevertheless, the Lord did hear their cries, and began to soften the hearts of the Lamanites that they began to ease their burdens; yet the Lord did not see fit to deliver them out of bondage.

WOWWW I love this!!! The Lord heard their cries, he was there for them and he helped soften the hearts of the people that don't believe BUT it didn't seem fit to deliver out of their hardships because they needed to learn and to grow. I loved this because yanno the Lord will help us so it's easier to get through the hard times but most of the time He won't take our hardships away because he needs us to grow and learn from it. I love this gospel and I love the truths in Book of Mormon, it's just SO GOOD and truly the word of God!!

OKAY, THAT'S ALL. SORRY, THIS WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE THE BEST WEEK IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth

TWO SISTER JOHNSONS?!?! - 08/05/2019

Two Sister Johnson's!!
HELLO FRIENDS hahahaha, so let me explain the title. I am THE BIGGEST airhead in the whole world. This week has been A WEEK. So last week I forgot my badge one day but we noticed real quick and then went back and grabbed it...  WELL, this week I DID IT AGAIN. Hahaha and I didn't notice until we got on the bus and were halfway to our appointment with our friend. Okay so I panicked and got off the bus real quick then noticed that Sister Johnson had two badges so I was like YES okay I'm going to use one of yours today since we don't have time to bus to our flat walk from the bus stop and bus all the way out here SOOOOO there were two Sister Johnsons for the day and I am the biggest airhead so yes we love it!!!! Classic Sister Farnworth.
I embraced the curl in my hair!!
ANYWHO, on to the important stuff. THIS WEEK WAS SO GOOD!! We had Zone Conference and the main focus was having faith in Christ and we talked a lot about believing Christ. My mission president brought up the book Believing Christ and I just love that book!!! Ah the spirit was so strong it was so good!!! I love being reminded that we Christ lives and that he truly loves us and all we need to do is to believe Him and believe his words yanno? It's so good. We also had exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders which was lots of fun! I met one of there friends they are teaching and he is really nice!! I love him, we also made a couple of friends and we met a girl from Albania and I was so happy!!! I instantly thought of how I wish Jacob was there to translate because she had NO idea what we were saying hahahaha, but it was so fun and we love it! BUT then after exchanges we had to get a train to Chester so we were sitting on the train, living our best lives and this man named David sat across from us and said "Hi I'm David and I'm homeless" HAHAHA WHAT. That was an interesting way to start a conversation THEN he goes on to ask us every financial detail about our lives, then about our family's, then where are parents are, who we live with and THEN says he wants to date both of us. THIS MAN. I'm not gonna lie I was nervous for my wallet and my safety but nothing happened and I know he means well and he seems like an amazing human!!!!  It was just quite the adventure and we were both like hahahaha, what is happening right now!!! BUT WE GUCCI. ALL IS WELL.
WHAT ELSE. Oh yes! Someone in the ward was baptized this week and it was AMAZING. Our friend, Emily, who will be baptized this upcoming Saturday was able to come and see what it was like so that was really good. THEN we have this fireside once a month called the "Why I Believe Fireside" and it's just recent converts bearing their testimonies and saying why they know this is the true church and why they want to be baptized and it was just SO GOOD. AHHH I loved it so much! The spirit was SO strong! It made Emily more excited to be baptized so we are SO excited for her, this week will be SUCH a good week. OH YES and we get to see other missionaries and I got to see Elder Skjövist from Sweden!!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY I HAVENT SEEN HIM SINCE IVE BEEN OUT. It honestly felt like I was talking to Kaleb again so I was so so so so SO happy. I love it and I love being a missionary and seeing my missionary friends!!!

ME AND ELDER SJÖKVIST, I LOVE HIM!!

Exchanges!

AHHH, YES LET'S GET SPIRITUAL FOR A SECOND.  I love this gospel and I seriously love talking to people and hearing different mindsets.  I've thought a lot about the scripture Alma 30:44 and it says...
44 But Alma said unto him: Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.

WOW. HOW AMAZING IS THAT??? There are a lot of people here (and in the world) that don't believe in God and say they need a sign. Well here is your sign!!! AH SO GOOD because why do we need signs when we have the earth and planets and stars that all orbit around one another PERFECTLY. It's just such an amazing scripture because it's so powerful and just there, there is no way to question that. I LOVE IT. I love the Book of Mormon it is TOO GOOD. AHH YES hahahaha, OKAY I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK, ILL TALK TO YOU LATER!!!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
sister farnworth
